We are pleased to announce that Dave Pearson will be joining Hills of Headwaters Collaborative Ontario Health Team (HOHC OHT) as its new Executive Director effective, September 9, 2024.
Dave joins us from Ontario Health where he served as Provincial Director of Primary Care. He will work closely with HOHC’s partners to improve the health care journey of Dufferin-Caledon’s community members and will work to advance local and provincial priorities identified by the community and set out in our 2024-2027 Strategic Plan.
Dave brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to improving health outcomes in our community. He holds a BA in Economics and a Masters degree in Integrated Care Design and has made significant contributions to both regional and provincial health systems, with a particular focus on developing, leading and implementing new models of care to improve individual and community health outcomes.
He is a results-oriented and collaborative leader with a breadth and depth of both system knowledge and the health care landscape. He thrives in dynamic and complex environments and can build strong relationships with community partners, which has enabled him to successfully drive system integration and transformation.
His expertise in facilitating system change will be invaluable as we continue to work towards our vision of a more integrated and responsive health and social care system for the Dufferin-Caledon area. We are confident that Dave’s leadership will inspire and guide our OHT to new heights.
We would also like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to our Interim Executive Director, Heidi Vanderhorst, for her leadership and dedication during this interim period. Heidi has done an exceptional job steering our OHT through this transition and will continue to play an integral role in our OHT. We are grateful for her commitment and support.
